Maybe you’re in the middle of your bootcamp
Or maybe you’re a few years into your career
Or maybe you’ve hit some pinnacle of success and realized…

I don’t like coding as much as I thought I would

And now, with so much time and energy invested into this path, you feel stuck 😰

What Do You Do Now?

Fortunately there is more to Software Development than just coding, and there are many roles that feed into the process of a successful team. The key is to identify what you enjoyed for your coding or education journey and finding the roles that allow you to do more of that

For example:

A Scrum Master or Project Manager if you enjoy

  • Planning & organizing your work
  • Mentoring junior developers
  • Resolving conflict

These individuals partner with teams and handle most of the external communication aspects of the team (tracking deliverables, communicating blockers, escalating issues, etc.)

A Designer or Product Ownerif you enjoy

  • Being the “decision maker”
  • Designing beautiful things
  • Talking to customers
