Most candidates don’t realize how much power they have in the interview process 💪

Remember, while you may really want the job,
The company really wants to hire you too!

Empathize with the hiring manager for a bit. Imagine -

Being understaffed (that’s why they’re hiring), so
They’re overwhelmed with all the extra work, and
In-between their hectic schedule they sit down, and
Start your interview

Now they finally have someone in front of them who can help (that’s you!)

So while you’re thinking “Please, hire me!”
They are also thinking, “Please, be the one!”

Which means at the start of the interview, the interviewer may be as nervous as you are! 😅

So here are some tips to help clear your head so you can approach this conversation with confidence.

1. Research the Interviewer

An interview is really just a conversation between two people so take some time to find a way to emotionally connect with that other person in the room.

So prior to the interview, try looking them up on LinkedIn!
